As a family, we’ve been insured with SWICA for years now and we're 100% satisfied! SWICA covers a large part of the cost of swimming lessons for our children. SWICA gave me all-round support when I had an accident abroad. It was a great relief

I had a heart attack when I was in the Philippines and had to be admitted to hospital as an emergency. Despite difficult communications channels and the different time zones, SWICA and Medicall gave me comprehensive professional support. A Swiss doctor gave me advice by phone and SWICA issued the cover note. SWICA was also there for me on the flight back home.

When things got really difficult, SWICA was there for us. When my son was only one day old, he was transferred to the university hospital because it looked like he needed to have abdominal surgery. Because I have private insurance with SWICA, I was able to stay overnight in the hospital and breastfeed my son, which was certainly very important in the first days of his life.

I landed, together with my wife and daughter, in Tokyo. My plan was to spend five months in Japan preparing for the World Barista Championship.
