If necessary, you will receive a medical diagnosis and treatment – quickly, conveniently and at any time of the day or night.
With SWICA TytoHome you can carry out various examinations conveniently at home or anywhere else – with step-by-step guidance from the app. You can record measurements for yourself or for another person.
Measure body temperature: The integrated thermometer reliably records body temperature.
Examine the ears: Use the otoscope to obtain clear images of the ear canal and eardrum.
Examine the throat and mouth: Use a spatula and the integrated camera function to carry out a detailed examination of the mouth and throat area.
Document the skin: The camera function takes accurate photos of the skin.
Measure heart rate and listen to the heart: The stethoscope helps you measure and record the heart rate, and the heartbeat can also be recorded accurately.
Listen to the lungs: The stethoscope allows you to record breathing sounds for evaluation.
Manage asthma and blood pressure: With the TytoCare app you can track your symptom history and set up medication or appointment reminders.

TytoHome saves you time and money: Once you have paid the single amount for the device, any further consultations with santé24 are free of charge for customers with a Favorit or BestMed plan. Medical services from other providers are subject to a fee.
The price of the device varies depending on your insurance plan:

Customers must be aged 18 or over and resident in Switzerland. Customers can order a maximum of one TytoHome device per person. To use TytoHome, you will need a smartphone, an email address and the SWICA Benecura and TytoCare apps with a SWICA account.
After you place your order, your TytoHome device will be sent to your home. To register and log in, you first need to install the SWICA Benecura app. You can then download and set up TytoCare within Benecura – eliminating the need to log in to the TytoCare app again. In the event of illness, you can carry out the necessary examinations independently – guided by the TytoHome device – and send the images, video and sound recordings to santé24 together with any additional information.
Once you have submitted the data, contact santé24 by phone. Santé24 will not analyse the examination results until you get in touch.
santé24 will discuss the situation with you and decide whether further examinations are necessary or recommend a course of action. If appropriate based on the symptoms and results, santé24 can also issue prescriptions or temporary certificates of incapacity for work or make a direct referral to a specialist. You will always be involved in deciding what happens next.

TytoHome sends the information it obtains from the examinations to santé24 in encrypted form. This means that only the patient and the santé24 medical staff are able to view the examination data. TytoCare can also access the data when providing technical support. All medical information is subject to medical confidentiality.
To enable santé24 to continuously evaluate and improve its services, you will be sent a short questionnaire after each examination. The questionnaire is voluntary and takes less than a minute to complete.
