International travel insurance Vacanza
We inform you that the Vacanza travel insurance will no longer be offered as of 31.12.2025. Existing contracts will remain valid until the end of the agreed term. If you have Completa Top or Completa Forte supplementary insurance from SWICA, your medical treatment and repatriation costs outside Switzerland are already covered.

Submit a claim: travel, baggage and legal cases
For trip cancellations, travel changes and baggage incidents, please use the appropriate claim form. A separate form is available for legal cases abroad.
Good to know
If you have taken out the Completa Top or Completa Forte supplementary insurance with SWICA, medical treatment and repatriation costs abroad are already covered by your health insurance — a separate travel insurance is therefore not required.
Vacanza benefits
- Treatment abroad: we cover emergency outpatient and inpatient treatments worldwide.
- If you are unable to continue your journey for medical reasons, we cover your hotel and rebooking costs up to CHF 10,000.
- Personal assistance: in an emergency, we organize your rescue, recovery and return to Switzerland.
Vacanza supplementary package 1
Trip interruption: if you have to interrupt your trip due to illness or accident, we cover your costs up to CHF 30,000 (families: CHF 50,000). For a replacement trip, you receive up to CHF 10,000.
Baggage: if your baggage is damaged or stolen, you receive up to CHF 2,000 (deductible CHF 200).
Legal protection for your trip abroad: in case of legal disputes abroad, you are covered up to CHF 300,000 (EU/EFTA/UK) or CHF 50,000 (rest of the world).
Vacanza supplementary package 2
Trip cancellation costs: if you are unable to start your trip due to illness, accident, death or sudden unemployment, we cover your cancellation costs up to CHF 30,000 (families: CHF 50,000).
