Data protection information related to the SWICA survey
Protecting your personal data is a top priority for SWICA.
The following survey is offered by the SWICA Healthcare Organisation and conducted by echonovum AG in Zurich. With respect to conducting this survey, echonovum AG is SWICA's contracted data processing agent as per the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA). SWICA ensures contractually that the data are processed exclusively in line with its instructions and in accordance with the DPA. echonovum AG's data protection provisions can be found here (in German only).
The following data is processed by SWICA:
SWICA uses the data you provide us with from the survey for statistical purposes and continuously improving its business processes and customer service.
Your data are not made available to unauthorised third parties within the scope of the intended purpose. Excluded from this are companies that (i) SWICA or the platform operator engage for the operation and maintenance of the platform or otherwise for the purposes of data processing, or (ii) who are involved as partners or otherwise in the processing of the transactions carried out via the platform (see point 1). Your data are stored on platforms in Switzerland and Ireland (EU). If data are transferred to a country outside the EU (third country), the platform operator will ensure that there is appropriate protection in place that is comparable to the protection offered in Switzerland and the EU.
On completion of the survey, echonovum AG will retain personalised data for a maximum of five years. They will not be used for any other purposes and or shared with third parties. After the five-year period has elapsed, the data is stored anonymously and can be re-used by SWICA for statistical purposes.
The liability for direct or indirect damage or consequential damage which users or third parties may incur as a result of the use of the internet, the platform and the information obtained from it in any way whatsoever shall be excluded to the extent permitted by law. This disclaimer also includes the loss of data caused by third party misuse and the introduction of viruses.
