At SWICA, your health is paramount. That’s why we support your commitment to a healthy lifestyle and make generous contributions towards preventive measures. This includes preventive examinations and comprehensive check-ups to detect illnesses at an early stage.
Medical and gynaecological preventive examinations
We make contributions to certain preventive examinations for the early detection of a disease that are not included in statutory mandatory benefits. Under Praevita, SWICA covers 90% of the costs, up to a maximum of 500 francs within three calendar years. Under Optima, SWICA pays 90% of the additional costs per year.
Medically recommended vaccinations, including for travel
SWICA contributes towards vaccinations, including for travel, that are not covered under a mandatory statutory plan. Under Praevita, SWICA covers 90% of the costs, up to a maximum of 200 francs per calendar year. Under Optima, SWICA pays 90% of the additional costs per year.

Which preventive examinations are recommended for you?
With the Benecura app from SWICA, you can easily and quickly get recommendations on which preventive examinations make sense for your health based on your individual history, age, sex and risk factors. The results of the PreventionCheck can be sent to your GP, or if you have questions, they can be sent to the santé24 telemedicine advice service directly from the app via an encrypted e-mail and then discussed at an appointment. The Benecura app is available free of charge to all SWICA customers.
