What is preventive healthcare?
Preventive healthcare comprises targeted measures aimed at preventing the occurrence and negative consequences of certain conditions and diseases. SWICA can support you with a wide range of preventive healthcare courses – including DIAfit for people with diabetes, exercise groups for heart and cancer patients, help with quitting smoking, first aid courses for mental health, and Evivo training for long-term complaints.
Simply being able to structure your life according to your own personal preferences and needs while also actively dealing with the challenges of a chronic illness is a big win. Self-management of this kind is a key element of disease management programmes and also forms the basis for our prevention courses.
Up to 900 francs per year towards preventive healthcare
SWICA can support you with generous contributions under three supplementary insurance plans. Under Completa Forte, we cover 90% of the costs up to a maximum of 300 francs per calendar year. The Praevita plan covers an additional 50% of the costs up to 300 francs per year. Optima supplementary insurance covers 90% of the remaining costs, up to a maximum of 300 francs per calendar year. The result is contributions of up to 900 francs per year towards preventive healthcare measures – providing a strong boost to your health.
