Life is full of stresses and strains. That’s why it’s important to look after your own wellbeing – both physical and mental. SWICA supports you with generous contributions.
How can I do to relax? In the health promotion and prevention list you’ll find a wide range of SWICA-supported courses and treatments. Whether you’re looking for acupressure, breathing exercises, herbal remedies, Tai-Chi, Qigong or mindfulness training, there’s something for everyone. Massages are also covered by health insurance and provide a lasting boost to your wellbeing.
Some courses require valid course leader accreditation to be eligible for reimbursement by SWICA. You can find SWICA-recognised course leaders in the directory of course instructors.
An MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) course in Switzerland will teach you how to deal with stress mindfully and bring more calm to your everyday life. Whether you choose a classic mindfulness course, meditation or a combination of mindfulness and MBSR, SWICA supports a number of recognised mindfulness courses and will help you to actively boost your mental wellbeing.
SWICA contributes up to 900 francs a year towards full-year and six-month memberships for swimming pools, thermal baths and saunas – a beneficial form of relaxation that balances body and mind.
